What does that spell? A refreshing new way to experience something we all have to interact with at some point in our lives….insurance!
HPM Insurance is putting the energy back into the insurance industry.
This week, I had the chance to meet with the inspirational leader behind the tone and vision of the agency, Lyle Fulkerson. Lyle is President and CEO of HPM Insurance and has a passion for individual’s peace of mind and protection. His values are mirrored in his business as he is active in the community, forward thinking, innovative, and knowledgeable. Lyle shared with me how a foundation of community involvement coupled with a polite and engaging staff is the best way to say, “We’re here and ready for to help you with your needs!” I couldn’t agree with him more and when you interact with his staff, you see this mindset permeates the professional culture of the office. You can read more about the energized staff and the faces of HPM here.
HPM is an independent insurance agency which is four insurance agencies merged together: Holt, Proctor, McBriarty, and Pollock. There are two agency offices, one in Amherst and one in Bedford, with over forty agents. The Amherst office (located on Ponemah Rd.) recently underwent a relocation (a lovely office space) also reflecting the brand image of energy and professionalism. At HPM, they specialize in offering their clients council and advice amidst (what is for many) a complicated and confusing world of insurance.
What Do You Love About Doing Business in the Souhegan Valley?
HPM Insurance is all about the people and the individuals who make up the community of the Souhegan Valley are one of the best parts of the job! The Souhegan Valley is a great place to grow quality, trusted relationships –something that fits in well with the vision of HPM Insurance and helps to inspire health business-client relationships.
What Do You Like Most About Being a Souhegan Valley Chamber Member?
The Chamber is a great tool businesses can activate to leverage themselves. There are endless opportunities like Business After Hours, meeting 1-1 with members, sharing big news and announcements with Chamber-wide notices, fantastic events, and endless relationship-building. Lyle praised Tracy and Beth’s hard work in being resources for the members of the Chamber as well huge advocates for small, local business and growing the local economy. Lyle sits on the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and really believes that when members take advantage of all the Chamber has to offer, they will see great success with their membership!
Fun Fact –What is Something You Want the Community to Know About You?
Lyle has a love for the outdoors and his dog, Louie, a Sotto and a rescue dog. Being a dog lover, I gushed over the cute puppy pictures that Lyle showed me of Louie and we exchanged some dog hair horror stories. He also told me that his first real job was driving an ambulance as an EMT for three years. Another fun fact is that Lyle loves two wheels and has seven bicycles (one of which is a motorcycle).
Having seven bicycles is a great example of how when Lyle gets involved in something, he doesn’t just wade on the edge of the water –he dives fully into it and becomes vested in the experience; this is obvious from his passion for his business, his advocacy for the local community, and his commitment to contributing to his membership with the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce to the fullest extent.
In closing, I would like to just offer my own testimonial regarding working with the knowledgeable staff at HPM. “We are happy to have our business insured with HPM Insurance and I worked with Dwayne Davis and Monica Clearwater, who walked me through (rather effortlessly) the process as well as asked all the important questions to ensure they got me the proper products and coverage. We are very happy with our experience with HPM so far and look forward to continue working with and supporting our fellow Chamber members! Thanks to the whole team at HPM.” –Emily A.
